About Us
Cerberus Special Risks is a new Australian insurance Broking House based in Sydney, Australia. We are licensed and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC).
We specialise in unusual and hard to place risks which revolve around people whose work takes them to unstable or extreme environments. Cerberus is one of the few brokers to offer insurance for travelers to these regions.
We take extra time to check that our partners and insurers understand our client's needs and are at our best when creating bespoke solutions to our client's problems.
Outside our niche areas of business we are also work closely with companies who provide risk solutions from Political Risk and High Risk Liability markets.
Graham Kingaby
Graham worked as an Underwriter and Broker in the Lloyd's and London market for over fifteen years before moving to Australia. His focus is on unusual and hard to place risks around people travelling and working in atypical or hazardous environments.
Michael McAuliffe
Michael has a long insurance career which included management of the Personal Lines division of QBE insurance company in Australia. He holds an MBA from the prestigious Rochester University in the USA.
Michelle Murphy
Michelle has previously worked in Personal Lines claims and training roles at Insurance Australia Group, but has since moved her focus to niche insurance risks in her position as a manager of Cerberus Special Risks. Michelle is currently studying for her Diploma of Financial Services (General Insurance) and preparing for her biggest challenge to date - motherhood!
